In this episode, Sharon Rolph, the Queen of Courage, shares her take on how Essence expresses our inner spark/DNA and soul. How aligning our life with it brings unshakable confidence and contentment: heaven on earth. And how it’s good for pre-schoolers to retirees.
Sharon transitioned her Behavioral Science masters degree into being an Essence / Retirement coach. As a behavioral scientist, she helps people find their spark so their life can become energized and effortless again. She’s like a LifeSaver for re-discovering your heaven on earth.
If one has a talent and cannot use it, one has failed. If one has a talent and partially uses it, one has partially failed. If one has a talent and learns to use the whole of it, they have gloriously succeeded, and won a satisfaction and triumph few people will ever know.Thomas Wolfe

Sharon Rolph inspires, collaborates and motivates others with ideas, possibilities and potential. If you can dream it, it is possible. People were introduced to her work through her What Do I Want to Do in Retirement workshops. Then she transitioned into podcasting: Maximize Retirement (audio only) and FRESH COURAGE (both audio and video), which are available on her business website EffortlessVitality.org. She is an analyst, communicator and listener; a systems thinker, maximizer and optimist who loves creating synergy.
Sharon expresses her creative side through patchwork quilting. Her love of sewing and love of color is showcased in her quilts and postcard-size wall hangings. The fabric art is created in the Seattle area where she strives for a WOW factor with color, a little shine or inspirational wisdom. She likes to use something that might catch the sun and sparkle for a moment. Each item is as unique as Sharon is and some can be found at ETSY in the QuiltedPetunia store.
Sharon grew up in the Puget Sound and Eastern Washington, where she pursued education in Behavioral Science, Administration and Technical Arts. She worked for Boeing in Tukwila as a Business Process Analyst, for nineteen years for GTE in Everett and Tampa, and three years in Dallas, Texas, for USPS and IBM. Her travels have taken her to Alaska, Nashville, Switzerland, Italy and Australia. Now, Holland, New Zealand and Costa Rica are on her bucket list. Sharon has two sisters, thirteen nieces and nephews, and challenges herself each year to make their Christmas gifts. A unique legacy, of sorts.
